Previewing my listing this morning, and have just noticed that each of my reviews now have lines of text highlighted by bolding. I think it's a great initiative to highlight particular aspects of each guest's stay! Each bolded line draws attention to different positive aspects of the listing.
Not sure how long this experiment will last, but it's one that I hope will stick.
Anyone else seeing this?
I can’t see any bold in mine in Oz.
There is something a little different about the way listing photos are displayed though - not a main one with 4 smaller ones anymore. There are 3 total and the bottoms look a little cropped on the iPad view.
@Jennifer1421 @Suzanne302 I don't see any highlighted/bold stuff in any of your reviews.
But I would like, that WE could highlight some text in our description, this would make our live much easier and guests less disappointed if we could write in bold some special (probably negativ) aspects of our houses.
I made this feedback since several years .. but .. yeah ...
@Jennifer1421 @Suzanne302 ... could you put in a screenshot please?
And as this is new .. then not the guest has decided to write it in bold .. means airbnb decides??
@Mika8Have put arrows to show the bold text. And yes - I guess Airbnb decides what to highlight, rather than us, as this magically appeared today. Would it be ideal if we could choose it? Yes. I really like this initiative though...definitely a step in the right direction.
I see bolding in your reviews from my end. Your newest (from Sabri) has the following in bold: "It is an amazing room with beautiful view and central location". The rest of her review is not highlighted, so this sentence really stands out!
@Jennifer1421 I can see it as well. I like it--except my two, latest reviews are suddenly gone! What gives, Airbnb?!
@Ann489My newest are not appearing either. I notice the ordering of the reviews has been skewed - mine are all over the place in terms of dates, so maybe the newest are buried somewhere in the pages???
@Jennifer1421 Sigh, I just noticed that mine are out of order as well.....I'm sure you are right...they are probably buried somewhere.... 😉
Hey @Jennifer1421 and @Ann489,
How you doing?
Have these reviews showed themselves yet?
Thanks,
Lizzie

Hi @Lizzie Thanks for checking in. We're celebrating Canada Day today, so I've been out much of the day...
When the "bolding" disappeared Friday afternoon, my newest reviews were back at the top. I noticed that the "bolding" reappeared earlier today, and that my reviews were again out of order. It's disappeared again now, and the reviews are back to regular ordering.
I also noticed this morning, when the bold text was showing, that the review stats were all wonky again, as they were last week.
All is back to normal now. Not sure if it's connected or a coincidence that the bold text, and the "Superhost stats" for reviews are getting whacked out at the same time, but maybe...
@Lizzie thanks for checking in, Lizzie....the reviews finally have re-appeared, but they all seem out of chronological order now, sigh. I was on vacation for a few days, and noticed yesterday that the superhosts review stats are off again; have you been made aware of that? I hope I'm not the only one! 😉
Hi all...I see the bold print as well, just wondering tho if any bad words also pull up bold print? Since Abnb seems to favor the guest, maybe that's not only bold, but also on the slant.
I don't see it on any of our reviews, is this just on the mobile app maybe?
@Mark116I checked your listing, and they don't appear for me (online, not using mobile). For sh8ts and giggles I re-checked my own, and the bolding has disappeared now.
Sigh, Too good to be true, I guess. Or maybe it was just a test run, and it's something we'll see rolled out permanently, soon.
