Several days (a week or so?) ago, Airbnb stopped sending me email notifications of confirmed reservations and payouts. There is no visible option in Settings to turn this back on. Has this happened to others? How do I give Airbnb the feedback that I want these notifications?
@Nora-J0 What kind of device are you using? An app? I've seen Airbnb tell people using apps to either refresh or uninstall and reinstall the app. If you have access to a laptop with Google Chrome, that's your best bet for setting your notifications. I use that for all my Airbnb business.
I've been having the same issue. I was in contact with one of their reps and he said it should be working, but it isn't resolved.
I'm not sure what else to do. I've enabled notifications and checked the email spam folder. It was working and then just stopped working and I haven't changed anything.
This happened to us over a year ago and we never managed to get it sorted! Luckily we still get text messages but I have a friend who also hosts that tells me her text messages recently stpooed - but she still gets emails!! The worry, obviously is what happens if we lose both!
I have been having this problem for the last week. I am not receiving new reservations, payout emails etc... I only get a reminder to write a review and that is it. It was perfectly fine before and I have missed correspondence with my customers before I became aware of the problem. I do the majority of the business on a desktop but also use my Ipad at home. I have not changed any setting s nor are any of these emails in junk. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
Same issue, we have a new account (this one) so we can link both our properties via Siteminder channel manager. For our latest booking we didn't receive an email confiramtion like we did with previous bookings. I have checked all the suggestions by help centre, checked spam folders in Outlook and webmail but no sign of the booking email. Luckly we use the booking system and airbnb mobile apps otherwise we'd be none the wiser, at a losss where to go next
Same here, up until 2 months ago we would get the email notification of a payout the following day after arrival, this was consistent for almost 2 years and then all of a sudden past 2 months no email. I have to contact airbnb and get them to send us a screen shot of the sent payout email..which we get...via email, so we can forward to our property manager to confirm payment to them. One rep said it was a glicth in their system and they were working on it, other times I called the rep has never heard of this. I will try the suggestion of refreshing the app to see if this helps. Thank you
