PLEASE allow us to modify reservations after they've started!

So many times now I've had guests show up with more guests than is on their reservation, but I cannot change the existing reservation because it has "already started", so I have an inaccurate count of how many guests stayed. I can request money from them, but they always have the option of not paying that.

 

For the love of everything PLEASE let us be able to add guests! When I try to do so through the resolution centre it says "please use the alteration tool" which then says "cannot change as reservation has already begun".

Hey,

You can indeed make changes.

Click in to the itinerary, click make a change to the reservation, click hange reservation.

You can now change dates, people, pricing and even the room if you have multiple listings available.

 

Once done, click continue and this sends a reservation amendment to the guest - who of course has to accept it at their end for the changes to take effect.
