Plastic free toiletries

Hi Everyone!

We are trying to run our Air BnB as plastic free as we can.  In the bathroom I personally use bars of soap for washing and a specialised shampoo/conditioner bar.  I'd like to be able to offer this same collection of plastic free toiletries to guests.  It's not econimical to have whole bars on offer so I was thinking to cut them up.   Does anyone do this?  Has your feedback been good or do your guests think it's weird.

Thanks for your help!

Lizzie! I started to reply to this a couple of weeks ago and got distracted by something and then forgot! lol

Right now we have 3 rentals, one that we own and 2 that we're managing. A couple of things we have made are handcrafted, guest-size shampoo and body bars, and reusable tote bags with our logo and the text "Travel Sustainably" that we leave in the rooms for guests to use while they're staying.

We will be doing a little re-design of our rental within the next couple months and will be replacing the keurig with a waste-free coffee set-up, getting clearly marked recycling and compost bins, and stocking the mini-fridge with some locally made drinks and snacks.

Thanks so much for the welcome 🙂
