Ratings - unfair to hosts

I believe that the current star rating system is unfair for three reasons:  1) A host is better off if a guest doesn't give a rating at all, rather than a less than 5 star rating,  and 2) I've found that long term guests rate our place more highly than guests that stay for only 2 days.  One would think that a rating for a long-term guest should have a higher weighting than that for a short term guest. 3) A host could achieve 5 stars in every category but a 4 star overall, which for some unknown reason results in a less than 5 star rating.   I currently have a 4.8 star rating but missed superhost status, which is very frustrating.

@Teresa287What you listed are valid findings. If you had 4.8 before July 1, you should have been qualified for Superhost as for the rating.

It could be something else which made you not qualified.
