Real estate agents setting up as airbnb

Real estate agents setting up as airbnb

Hi guys. I'm from Palm Beach in Sydney Australia. It's a beautiful sunny day at the beach today.

Anyway - I noticed some local real estate agents are setting up as airbnb hosts managing multiple properties - is that allowed?

I don't think I would like turning up to a place and not being shown around by the owner. It would be a bit weird.

Anyway - just wondering - have a nice day people!

@Russell5 I'll be Sydney hosts would have more of a response for you.  Go to Cities in the menu at the upper left of this page and you will find a Sydney Community Center.  They would be the best to answer your question.  🙂

Airbnb does not have any problems with that... There are a lot of agencies managing somebody else place... Our region has a lot of this agencies, some have been around for 20+ years. Most of us here are legal and each unit has it's independent liscense...

Take a look on this hosts...

However in recent times, there have been multiple cases where Airbnb deleted listings of hosts who they had multiple lisitngs and were either running hotels or resorts or were agents.

Here's an article on the same: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-35574971

OK - thanks! I suppose airbnb would be on top of it - if it's not right.

Nice chatting!
