Requests despite listing being deactivated

Hi, 

I deactivated my listing and am not taking bookings however every fortnight or so I get a new reservation request and have to take the time to decline and explain why.  I cannot find a way to inform Airbnb about this frustrating problem or to get it sorted out.  

Does anyone have any suggestions?

FYI your listing is actually not deactivated at all (unless you had another one not showing now), and your calendar is wide open!

Better check that again!
