Reservation cancellation

Hi I recently had a guest come to stay for two nights and they decided they didn't like the place and cancelled the reservation. However, I am being charged for their cancellation and I do not understand why? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi @Kavi0,

 

Did you cancel for the guest or did the guest cancel using the Airbnb platform?  I suspect that you cancelled for the guest as you have an automated review on your account.  Please advise!

Thank you for your reply. No I did not cancel the reservation. The guests cancelled it after coming to my flat and decided they did not want to stay. I don't know why it says that I cancelled the reservation and I am now being penalised for it. How should I go about sorting this out?
