Reservations - do I need to accept it or is it automatically accepted?

I've just received my first reservation. It's blocked out the dates in my calendar. Is it a confirmation or do I need to accept the booking? I don't know what to do next. I would like to send my guest a "thank you for your booking" email but I don't know how.

Yea! @Cheryl130  First reservation and off you go...:D   I see that you got the reservation through Instant Booking so you did not have an opportunity to get information and decide to host.  No problem.  Just go to your messages and send a welcoming message like "Thank you for selecting my home for your trip.  I look forward to meeting you."   It is always good to know why your guests are coming so if they didn't message you with that information, you can ask.  Also, I always ask for the names of all the people that will be staying at my place.  Good luck!!
