Showing a listing prior to reservation

Showing a listing prior to reservation

For longer term rentals, I would like to be able to invite potential guests to see my listing in person.    As far as I can tell, airbnb wants to avoid direct contact outside the website until a reservation is booked.    I'm not trying to book directly, but just to show the listing.   Is this possible to arrange via the site?   Usually, it blocks phone numbers, etc.    If you have any experience with this, please let me know.

Thanks,

Ilsa Svendsen

You put yourself at risk and you are not protected by AirBnB's (limited) cover. Not really sure why you would want to do either. Having said that the platform seems pretty good at recognising anything that looks like an address, phone number or a link. So, no idea how to get round that - perhaps others can advise.

I can't see any benefit to you as a host in showing a guest your place before they book. All the information they need should be available through your listing and they can request additional information through the messaging system.

However if that's what you want to do, there are other listing companies you can use that alllow this.
