Smart pricing seems not to syncronize with suggested prices

Hello! I am Paul, a host from the Philippines.  Smart Pricing just started two months ago is still in beta testing here now.  I just want to ask why this system seems to be not aligned and coordinated with the price suggestions the calendar gives when smart pricing is off.  Even if you turn the prices really low, both still doesn't connect.. Any explanations on this?

Also, I had learned that changing your prices really low put your listing at the top of the search platform.  I understand that smart pricing change and update your prices daily according to demand but does it also provide the latter benefit?

I hope Airbnb would upgrade their pricing systems.
