South Lake Tahoe recently inacted some local ordinances related to short term rentals. A ghood question came up from one of or group members: 

Our rental is up for inspection and I am looking for some help with resources or recommendations to local business that can help with the following:
Emergency Exit Map-

Emergency Exit Lighting

I thought it worthwhile to share here to see if anyone has a) any suggestions and b) this might be happening elsewhere

Hi -

I am working on this now and curious if anyone has a good sign person.  It is my understanding that the exterior sign needs to be professionally made b/c it must be plastic or metal.

Just saw the question on exit lighting.  This is actually quite simple.  You just need to get these emergency lights that plug into a normal outlet.  They come on when the power goes out and can be used as a flashlight.  I got 2 on Amazon for about $15 bucks that are Red Cross certified.
