Strict Cancellation policy: my guest found the way to have the payment back!

Hi, 

I just want to share with the other hosts what happened to me.

My guest asked me, on the arrival day, if she could postpone the booking of one month. 

She called Airbnb Customer Service and they wrote me asking if it's possible. I accepted it and then, after few dauys, she cancelled the reservation, so she had the time enough not to be charged as per "strict" cancellation policy".

Airbnb deducted the whoe amount from my payments and the guest was fully refunded.

Now I have learnt the lesson, I will NOT postpone the booking, but only keep the calendar free for the new dates!

I hope this experience will help other hosts.
