@Mar112 If you have a confirmed booking, you are supposed to honour it. A booking is a valid contract until it is cancelled and unless the guests have cancelled, you must assume they are arriving. Guests have paid their stay in full to airbnb, there is no reason to assume they are not coming or to require reconfirmation. Exactly how had you planned to free up the dates ? If you cancel, the dates will be blocked in your calendar and there are also further penalties.
Early bookings for peak season are not uncommon - I get bookings more than a year in advance sometimes.
