I qualify for superhost according to all of the criteria, but I don’t get the impression AirBnb has deemed me eligible even thought they are currently doing their assessment right now (ends July 14) bc at the top it says:  

 Does this mean I’m not gonna get it this time around and have to wait till October?

No. This is just a really poorly written banner. The assessment period is over on July 14th for the period ending on July 1st [or maybe June 30th?] If a review is written that covers a stay during the end of June arrives and drops your average below 4.8, then you will not be given SuperHost status. If all of your reviews are in, or keep your average at 4.8 or higher, you will get the designation.

All stays that began after July 1 will belong to the October review period.

Ok cool. I’ve had a 4.8 for a while now actually and all my June ratings were 5 stars, as are all my July ratings so far.
