Temporarily suspend listing

We are leaving the country for 2 weeks to a remote area.  We will not be able to respond to hosting requests for that time period but do not want to lose our superhost status.  Can we temporarily suspend our listing while we are away?

You can Snooze your listing, @Mark249. In Your Listing -> Calendar and More, go to the menu on the left. From the dropdown that right now says Listed, choose Snoozed. Follow the prompts to choose your timeframe.

I think I would simply block the dates for such a short period of time.

That wouldn't work because he wouldn't get enquiries for the bookings during the period he was away but could still get enquiries for dates in the future and he wouldn't be able to answer them.

Snoozing, as described by @Lawrene0 is the best option.  It will take your listing off searches from that period, so people looking at dates even in the future won't see it, and so won't be contacting you.  You can set the dates of your snooze.
