I am literally surrounded by property managed, hostless listings that are now listing on Airbnb. None of them are Super Hosts. Most are quite expensive. They do not get many Airbnb bookings, based on the number of reviews I see. Airbnb recently notified me that I out-performed them (my 'competition' - their words, not mine) by 520% this past year (I had 100% occupancy, even during the fall / winter months here on the Oregon Coast - no small feat - and these professional property managed listings had 10% occupancy). Yet, I am outranked by these listings on the search results. I am rarely on page one; was on page two, and am now coming up on page three.

I think it is a myth that Super Hosts are featured higher up in the search rankings, myself. I think Property Managers are given preference. Not judgin'. Just sayin'.

I doubt I will ever meet the criteria for super host with my current and much preferred hosting style since I host only about 3~5 guests per year 🙂
