Hi,
Can I post a screenclip of a custom Google map in my listing photos? I found one post here that suggests there are problems but it may be okay but I was wondering if anyone knew the answer? That post is https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Help/My-map-of-the-area-removed-from-photo-gallery/m-p/761987 .
I understand Google's permissions and attributions and believe from their point of view I can, but I am not sure about Airbnb's policy. The reasons are simple. I want to highlight available points of interest near my location. I also want to highlight the historic neigborhood where located which is often used as a search term for listings that return a large number of results outside the actual area.
Thanks,
Clay
That would be helpful but I believe the guidebook accomplishes the same thing. I can't check on my phone, but pretty sure on a computer a Google map is generated with the locations you put in.
Thank you, but the information I am looking to include has more than points. I am also including polygons and polylines too that delineate historic boundaries as well as hike and bike trails together with specific poi.
I have a couple of screenshots of customised Google maps (showing routes) in my listing. They've been up a few months now, so I'm assuming it's OK 🙂
