Virus panic

Anyone else seeing lack of guests in South East Asia? I use to have a 500 people 30 view rating and now it's half that. I'm fortunate to have a 28 day guest in my unit now but not a peep for March, April, or May.

Yes, the news isn’t good.  Read here:

I realize China is not in Southeast Asia, but the virus fears are global.

This could wind up being a really rough year for tourism throughout Asia, especially in markets that rely on visitors from China. Maybe attracting more longer-term rentals is the best way to go until the panic subsides.

I think it will go way beyond Asia. I was in Italy and France last springs, about 1/3 to 1/2 of all tourists in popular sites were Chinese, I know that because they spoke Chinese. I think tourism over the world will see significant dip.

Yes, until virus is under control this will be a widespread situation. However, the domestic visitors will increase as people are reluctant to travel abroad. If you have no domestic tourism, i also suggest maybe trying to rent out long term. If you can.
