What do I do with my own listings when I go on vacation out of the country? I don't want to deal with hosting while I'm away.

@Schelly0  Are you asking about finding someone to host for you in your absence, or asking the best way to shut your listing down temporarily?

Block the dates or find someone to help you when you are away.

@Benjamin836  Blocking dates will prevent someone from booking those dates, but the listing will still appear in search, and guests can still send inquiries and booking requests for days in the future which aren't blocked.

So if the host will be unavailable to answer those, they need to snooze the listing so it doesn't show up at all, not just block dates.

Ok thanks for the tip.

That is exactly what I am trying to do. It should be easy but I followed the directions for snoozing and the listing status doesn't come up in the drop down menu like it is supposed to.

ended up unlisting it until my return. This was easier as snoozing should be.
