What if a Long-term reservation is cancelled?

We accepted a 61 day booking during our summer high season. I have read the long-term payment procedures and it looks like we will get paid the first month's payment NO MATTER WHAT (assuming of course there is no Travel Issue re the Guest refund Policy). Is this correct?
