Hi,
I want to give my guests something personalised like a keyring, postcard, card in frame etc.
Can anyone give me some ideas of what to give my guests and also where you've found is best to buy them?
Thank you so much everyone!
Chris
From a business point of view, I am not sure that you are charging enough to also be giving gifts, but that is your business, not mine. If I could charge a bit more consistently, I would love to give small sample sizes of our locally made chocolates. Another idea could be a refrigerator magnet with my house logo, again, if I really had a decent logo. We have four breweries in town, and something from one of them might make sense, but anything alcohol related makes me nervous. Finally, a cute mini-bottle of Amber Maple Syrup harvested in the mountains of New Hampshire would be my first choice. The only relationship this would have to me is that the sap is gathered on my mother's land.
Looking forward to other folks' ideas.
thanks for the response.
@Christopher555 @Susan151 at our vacation rentals we leave each guest a pack of playing cards to take home, backs are our scenic view and link to booking site:

But this is not worth the investment for budget rentals. Another idea is stickers/decals of local attractions. I like to give something that will continue to remind them of their stay.
@Christopher555 I use this A5 sized light box to leave a personal greeting for my guests in the room when they check-in, they ALWAYS love this personal touch!
It cost me £15 I think, and it’s just a few moments to re-do the lettering/message depending on the guest.
A personalised card could be a good idea, it wouldn’t cost much and I’m sure your guests would appreciate it- and they get to take it home as a memento.
Paul 🙂
Thanks Paul!
I've seen these, it's a good idea 🙂

That is a fabulous idea.....do you remember the name, of the supplier of this box please?...regards personalised cards, I use a company called MOO cards and have various photos of my home on them with my email and address.
I got this lightbox from a store called Joy, but I’m sure you can get them online from lots of different places @Victoria567
I always leave it illuminated in white but it has 6 colour options I think.
Personalized key rings with details for you place can also be cute provided they are not expensive to make.
Local chocolates are also nice
maybe ballpoint pen with your logo.. or just written Liverpool?
I am not sure if guests care for souveniers any more. I know mine usually crouse arround Europe and visit 5 or more cities in a week or two.
We got fridge magnets ( small foldable map of Zagreb with all tourist attractions ) and leave it to our guests as a souvenier. Almost nobody takes it home. I think nobody use it either - their smartphones are all they need.
I have small half size quirky personalised, business cards, with photos eg the bedroom, front of our home with my name and address, with email address.
I get them from a great company called MOO cards, online directly from them
@Christopher555 We leave gift baskets for kids, cheese and meat trays and wine for the adults, but also on the desk we leave personalized 5" x 7" postcards with stamps already on them they can send or take. There are personalized pencils and pens they can take that we leave all over the place and koozies. We also have a personalized shot glass for them to take home with our name Live Oak Vineyard, logo and the phone number.
