Do people typically leave any extra vehicles in the driveway or should/can they list on Airbnb or a separate car-sharing site?

@Kerri178  If what you mean is do hosts allow guests to rent their cars, that's a really terrible idea. What would happen if a guest wrecked or stole your vehicle? Or if they had a accident and the car was found to be unsafe?

@Charles224 & @Sarah977  There are a lot of car-sharing websites in the US that cover insurance so I was just curious about the shared economy & what makes people comfortable sharing their home but not their car!

.

@Kerri178

If You rent out a car the renter can just drive away with it and You may never find Your car again. You can't drive away with a house or an appartement though.

Also, cars can get involved in caraccidents. Houses don't bc they dont move.

So the general feeling amongst airbnb hosts is, that it may be saver to rent out a place as opposed to a car.
