Why my listings are so far down the list of local listings.

I was the first airbnb listing in my city. I have 4 rooms in my home and have been operating for 2 years. I am a superhost with excellent reviews. When I do a search of my city my first room doesn't appear until 3rd or 4th. To see all 4 of my rooms you will need to scroll down through 10 or 12 and some of those are not in my city but 10 or 15 miles away. I feel like I am missing listings this way. It is getting a little discouraging.

@Lynn83  When I look at your profile and view all 5 of your listings the map reflects that the listings are in different locations but your posting refers to 4 rooms in your house.  Am I misunderstanding your posting?  I did notice that while the nightly prices are similar there is a wide range of number of reviews from 6 to 20+.  I wonder if the difference in the search location is related to the number of reviews with the more highly reviewed listing showing sooner in the search than the lesser reviewed listings.  Just a thought.

Try tweaking the wording in your listings, rearranging the pictures and/or adding some new pictures, and tweaking your calendar - this sometimes helps bump listings up in the search results.
