Why on earth aren't reviews in chronological order?

I'm talking about reviews in more than one language, so if you host, say, in the US and only get English speaking guests, you won't get this problem.

Airbnb thinks it's clever to show reviews by language so if you're French and look at my French listing, you'll see 1 review for this year followed by 2 for last year, followed by 3 for 2017 before you find the 10 or so English reviews for this year. If you're on a phone, you probably won't bother scrolling down and will conclude that nobody goes there.

My Italian listing viewed by me shows one (grumpy) review for last year in English first followed by all the other old reviews in English before you get to the nice French and German reviews for this year.

Why not list them in chronological order with the option of autotranslate? Simple!

@Bob40

It's Airbnb policy....search for more discussions about this topic in this community

BTW

In your homepage the reviews are listed in chronological order:

https://www.airbnb.com/users/51502800/listings

In your account also, but  including the translate option

https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/51502800

best regards,

Emiel

Hi @Emiel1 yes I assume it's Airbnb policy. The point is that it's a stupid policy. Has anyone from Airbnb explained it?
