Working with cleaners

Hi all!

 

We are new-ish hosts looking to have cleaners come in and handle turnovers for our units. It seems to me as though this is a very important topic as missing a cleaning can greatly impact your next guest and reviews. We're wondering how other hosts are handling this for their unit(s).

 

Do you have a full-time cleaner or multiple in case that one is not available? Do you often get no shows? What is your turnover like for cleaners, do they often leave you? Do you find they are good with handling restocking or inventory? What are some of the biggest issues you've faced or how did you prevent/solve them? Do you find it easy to schedule them, or are they often unavailable?

 

Any insights on how to find cleaners or manage them is very appreciated!
