cancellation policy

hi there,

my first time encounter a guest wanted to cancel her booking during her stay, she originally books for 28 nights, but now she likes to leave  5 days earlier. So base on the flexible policy, do I need to refund her anything?

Let her cancel the booking herself (not you) and the cancellation policy in place will decide the compensation you receive.

There is no point refunding the guest either as I am sure it will be extremely difficult for you to find a replacement booking at such short notice.

Always refer guests to Airbnb for refunds.  In this situation, it seems that your guest has already determined that she will get no refund since  a 28 day booking is always prepaid and guaranteed (since usually this length of stay also gets discounted prices by the host). She is hoping you will refund her in cash. Don't.
