delete response

How do I delete a response to a guest review that I wrote?

Can't believe these posts are from 2017 and this issue still hasn't been resolved. I just did the same - responded to private feedback and now the response is public, and looks strange as it's nothing to do with the public feedback. Annoying.

SOLVED!
I responded to a guest's private message publicly by accident!

Call Airbnb (Google the number for your country)
Ask for your response to be taken down.
Explain you don't want the review taken down, ust the response. 

Because you are the author of the response they will remove it for you. 
I just had this done. 
Such a relief!

This issue is still happening, Just as the original post described.  I too thought I was responding privately to the guest's private comment.  It's VERY misleading how Airbnb shows it and I'm not a webmaster or anything but it can't be VERY difficult to fix
