say i get a bad review, are my starts impacted instantly or at the same time the review is publicly published? cheers for any help
No, I don’t believe the text of a review is published, nor is the rating incorporated into the stats, until both host and guest reviews are completed, or until 14 days after checkout, whichever is soonest.
As @Pat271 says, No your star rating is not affected until the review is published. Except when calculating for Super host status. Your review/rating will account for the quarter in which the stay occurred. In other words, you cannot prolong a review to push the rating to a different assessment period.
