I was wondering; do any of you hosts ever have been paid for a reservation well ahead of time, meaning if one is suppose to be paid for a booking say this September, Airbnb pays you for it like 1-2 months ahead of time? Easiest way to know if so by looking under Manage Listings > Account > Future Transactions. Just wondering.

Hi @Fred13,

The guest pays the company up front (at the time of booking).  Airbnb holds the money, and then makes the payout to you 24 hours after check in.  In the case of longer stays, the payour will be made one month at a time, always paying you for each month at the start of it.

So the answer is no, we do not get paid ahead of time.  This would be problematic if there were to be cancellations from either side.

Correct.  I was wondering if they ever do pay in advance in the case of hosts with bookings say a whole year in advance, for example.
