I have received an email from the "express@airbnb" and wish to reply.

I did do a letter in response and sent it "reply" whereby it was not received, sent back to me.

It was explaining as to  why I didnt respond to an enquiry re a booking by clicking the "decline or accept" button.

You misunderstood my post. I was saying that you can't reply to an alert or notification text or email if all it's telling you is that you have a message in your Inbox.

I also just got 2 Mails from the adress express@airbnb.com and i am sure that this is Spam! 
The first mail was the confirmation of a booking, the second one had the last numbers of my credit card in it and something about a refund. The mails looked exactly, and I really mean that, they looked exactly like the Mails I get from Airbnb, so I was really confused if my sister for example did a booking with my login or such. I didn't klick on any link in the mail since I or she did not do such booking. Be careful and always expect the worst I'd say in this case..
