is it legal to rent my apartment in Soller, Mallorca?

I have an apartment in Soller in the mountains of Mallorca. It is not a typical holiday apartment block. It is a small block and my 3 neighbours live here all year round.

I have used Airbnb to rent it out , but some people are saying to me that is is illegal. They say the law has just changed. Yet when i search the internet i get conflicting views.

Does anyone know what is the situation please?

Hi Ralph,

Unfortunately, it is currently not legal. You may be able to apply for a license in a year team providing the island council deems Soller is prepared to have for licensed beds.
