pet friendly?

I have it stated in the rules and amenities that we are not pet friendly, yet in the last week i've had two people inquire about bringing their dogs. They must not be ready my whole listing. So now i'm just starting thinking,  what would I do if someone showed up with a pet? Has that happend to anyone?

Hi @Amy1,

You will find that many people do not read the entire listing. I notice you have "No Pets" crossed out in "Ammenities" and also in your rules so you are covered there.

If I had someone show up with a pet, I would tell them they are welcome to stay but would have to find a place for their pet.  Under no circumstance would their pet be entering my home.
