Is there a way to request and/or pay AirBnB to do a reshoot for listings that have been remodeled since the initial complimentary photo shoot for the listing?

@Michelle263 - if you use the "search for anything...." box above, this question has been answered several times in these forums.

In general, they do not.  Try using Thumbtack to find a local photographer who is willing to work for the price you'd like to pay.

Good luck!

You could get new photos if you start a whole new listing..but you'd lose all your reviews..

Hopefully no one would be silly enough to do that just to get free photography 😞

just get a local local freelance who specialises in interiors. Get som references and off you go. You can deduct as a business expense.

@Michelle263 Michelle, if you have any sort of reasonable smartphone you can take as good a picture as any professional photographer would take! Just look through some of the profiles on this forum and note the way they take pictures of rooms viewed through a bowl of flowers, or use a panorama shot, a low shot or an above shot.....These are all shots you can do yourself, and the pictures remain your property rather than Airbnb's!

Many prospective guests will tell you these days that they are more interested in reviews than fancy photos.

So I would advise you to look through some of the profiles here and when you see an angle or a setting that you like duplicate it in your listing and take it in the highest resolution your phone is capable of, the system will handle resolutions to 2560 x 1920 without any trouble.

I took all my images on an antiquated LG phone and guests say they give a homely, comfortable, honest impression rather than a slick 'air brushed' look. Airbnb may consider another 'freebie' for you but in all honesty Michelle....I don't think it is worth it!

Cheers.....Rob

Hi!

l had appointment already for last friday.

My flat was not ready so l told the photographer to not come on that day.

Now my flat is ready and l wrote already 4 emails to AIRBNB and also called to photographer many times to get a new appointment bcs its really urgent, nobody replies!

lf l go to my page it says: we recieved your request, thank you!

What can you do ??

Thanks in advance

@Marco173

It does say in the brief that you should not request the photo shoot until you are ready.  I suppose there is not much you can do now other than get a freelance in.

@Marco173 When you are having something done on a 'no charge' basis you have to be just a little bit accommodating Marco....In other words other people are putting themselves out for you, and they have the right to expect that you will do your bit too!!

You said you had an appointement for last friday so you knew full well that arrangements by others were made for that day.

It was up to you to be ready for them then. To put it another way, you can't expect the plane to remain on the tarmac until you are ready to board!!

By all means keep trying to contact someone but I would not expect you be given the 'first cab off the rank' treatment! They will no doubt fit you in when they can.

Cheers.....Rob

yes but l said from the begining that friday is maybe to early bcs lm waiting for frames+pictures...

Does anybody know how l can conatct airbnb? phonenumber are impossible to find, emails they don t react.

And canceling the request is also not possible. l dont see any button!

Marco I am not aware of a phone number for Hungary and I assumed you did have contact details because you had arranged with Airbnb for photography!

Facebook is also a good way of intiating contact. Type a question on Airbnb's Facebook page and this should get a response. Airbnb minimise contact options because with the sheer volume of hosts now almost every host will have a problem at some time or other and Airbnb could not physically have a service section large enough to handle the volume of issues on a daily basis.

That is one of the reasons for this forum! It is to take some of the pressure off the service offices

When you find a contact option for your area please make a note of it and keep it prominent for future reference. The delays you may experience in getting through to someone personally will vary from country to country. ...Cheers….Rob

Thank you Rob.

oh, the call center in China number changed. Not work anymore.
