referred new host and it failed: 1 invite not sent then Opted out of Airbnb email HELP

I am trying to refer a friend to host and put in the email address and it wouldnt go through.

It said invite not sent.

My friend's email address: Opted out of Airbnb email

What does this mean and how do I rectify it please.

Not 100% certain but it sounds like your friend may have AirBnB email addresses add to their junk folder etc..or are using a system or site that allows them to block advertising emails. They will have to manage their email preferences to all the email from AirBnB through.
