Hi. I had a lot of reviews with all 5 stars  and some of them have at the end  4 stars for the overall rating.. and I asked to Airb what I can do..  because really I  don' understand. they told me that they send an mail to the guest to confirm that judgment.. but as you easy understand they didn't answer. The only time that I sent a message directly to the guest he answered to me that if I want he will correct it obviously for good reason.... Isn't easier to do a simple average of all the voices ? sorry for my poor English.  Best regards. flaminia

The best thing you can do is write an explanation about Airbnb's rating system in your guest book to help guests understand how it works and that unlike most rating systems anything below a five star is seen by Airbnb as a fail.

Thanks!  But anyway I think that Airbnb can improve the rating  system... and write what you told me at the beginning of the guest review.  I think that I don’t have to explain.... because is like begging for a good review. And the guest as you said think that 4 stars anyway is a good evaluation...
