I love the calendar on Airbnb but have found that keeping track of when I schedule housekeepers is a challenge. I write to them in email to schedule. Then, I can't note it on the calendar so that I know it is done. So lately I have noted it in a second calendar...which isn't ideal.
Has anyone figured out a good way to manage this process?

One option would be to synch your Airbnb Calender with Google Calendar, then share that calander with the housekeeper's Google Calendar..
I am using a new service and absolutely loving it. The company is Home On (www.homeon.com) and they automatically schedule with my housekeeper and hot tub cleaners. The housekeepers have a Home on app and I was able to personalize everything I need them to do for my home. If there is an issue, then my housekeeper is able to create alerts for me. E.g. recently I got alerted (photos and video) via the app that there was damage to my bedframe (wooden panel was broken).
You should try it...the basic service is free that I am using. They say they are in closed beta, but if you fill out the form, they were pretty quick to reach out and work with me.

@Susan75 Hey Susan, we were having similar problems managing multiple cleaners over several properties, so we ended up writing some code for ourselves to automatically schedule them from our ABB and VRBO calendars.
