taxable san francisco gross receipts

I'm filling out the business registration form for San Francisco.  What is the 'taxable SF gross receipts'?  Do I put down the amount that Airbnb says I earned, or what?  I report what I make on my Federal Income Tax forms, but I don't know that any of that is taxable in SF.  thanks.

@Pearl2 My guess is that the taxable gross receipts are your earnings before Airbnb charges their 3% service fee.  I have to pay Occupancy Tax myself and it is calculated on the monthly gross earnings.  But to be absolutely sure, you might want to pose your question in the San Francisco Community which you can locate by going to the menu on the upper left of this page and scrolling down to Cities.

Pearl, I have the same question. Did you receive an answer anywhere? I submitted this same question to the Treasure & Tax Collector office, but I'm afraid I won't get a reply in time for my renewal deadline 5/31.

This is an old conversation but thought I'd add for the next person searching for the answer.

Per treasurer site in SF it doesn't matter if you are making under $100K.
