water damage- guest let sink overflow - what do i do?

Hi guys, guest filled sink, left tap switched on, it overflowed into our kitchen and living room.

 I've never had this situation before - a guest 'got distracted by a call' and left the tap fully on in the kitchen.

How do I price the damage? It's still wet and I've spent hours sorting it out. Not happy and confused as I know accidents happen but this is a first. Advice much appreciated!

Do you have a security deposit? If so you can make a claim through the resolution center.  You'll need receipts for the repair of the damage. See https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/767/what-is-the-resolution-center

I am sorry to hear about this. As @Clare0 mentioned, this would normally be something you would go to the Airbnb Resolution Center for. Can I just check are your guests still staying with you?

Hi Lizzie, sadly not - the guest 'checked out' 5 mins after leaving the tap open!!
