Get my refund when host cancelled

HI, how do I get my refund after my old credit card was cancelled already and when the host suddenly cancelled. Airbnb response is that it must go back to a cancelled credit card. What a stupid process.

Yes, just contact the bank of your old credit card after 15 working days. Your bank can still see the refund, so do not worry. If you have another account within that same bank, they can easily transfer the money to your new account. If you don't, the bank can either assist you in withdrawing that amount in cash, or they will issue a manager's check so that you can deposit the amount to your current bank account.
