How to let guests pay 50% ahead and then 50% a little later (rather than having to pay in full in advance)?

Hi I wonder if anybody can help me please.  I'm new to all this and have only had one guest so far.  Somebody has just been in touch with an enquiry about a booking for next summer and he says that Airbnb only lets him pay the whole amount up front rather than 50% ahead and then 50% a few months later.  Do you know how I can change that for him or is this something that it isn't possible to change?  I remember staying somewhere else and being able to pay 50% at a time but can't work out how to set myself up to let that be possible?

If a booking can be on a "payment plan", then the option is offered to the guest. Nothing you can do about it.  If it  is not offered sent the guest this link:
