Legal Permissions

I am hosting a facility from Bhubaneswar, Odisha...Although I have not opened it for booking as yet since I am unaware about the criticalities of legal permissions required before hosting a property. I am aware that there are grey areas in this zone, but I want to just have a 1st hand information from hosts who are already operating in my locality. A little help here will be appreciated.
