Pet Fees Not Showing Up at Checkout

My property is pet friendly and I have a $50 pet fee set up in my pricing. When I look at my pricing options in settings it is visible under "additional charges", however, it is not showing up when guests are checking out. I'm ending up with a lot of guests that are bringing their dogs but not paying the pet fee because it doesn't appear at checkout. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?  I know I can request the pet fee after a booking is made but I would rather just have it done at the time of booking. Below is a screen shot of what it looks like in my price settings.

@Mariah137  The pet fee will not be charged unless the guest has entered Pets on their search.  I have a pet friendly property and have had to use the resolution center many times in order to be paid the pet fee because the guest did not enter the pet in the initial search, i.e., 2 adults, 1 child, 1 pet.

 

I have added language to my description reminding guests to add their pet before they book.
