Service Fees. Help please!

Service Fees. Help please!

Hi..apologies i am new to Airbnb and just need some advice which would be greatly appreciated.

My listing is up and running but i have noticed a "published service fee". This doesn't appear on similar listings to mine so just wondering why i have it?

I fear it might put customers off......any help greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

@Damian261  Every host pays a service fee.  On your listing, it's not displayed until a guest enters dates.  Under that will then appear the price breakdown - nightly fee, cleaning fee, service fee, total.  If you put in a test reservation at a nearby Airbnb you'd see the same thing.  Have you given that a try?

Hosts typically pay 3% and guests 12-16%.  That's the split fee structure.  Some hosts have migrated to bearing the entire service fee so guests don't pay.  https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/1857/what-are-airbnb-service-fees
