7 year super host trying to get 2 false and retaliatory reviews removed, airbnb wont do it

I followed their process for appealing a review, not only are these 2 reviews clearly retaliatory if you read the conversations but they contain provably false facts (ex: one of them says I have no lock, I have a lock, I can prove this with a video).

I explained all of this, they left the reviews up, I called support and said please compare this to my excellent track record, they wont do anything.

I don't want to leave airbnb as it has been a long time and I have done a lot of business with them, but I will leave if these reviews are allowed to stand. Is there anything I can do?

I’m sorry about this issue - if you search the CC here many hosts are experiencing the same thing, likely due to the new release roll out and potentially an AI involved that denies claims and requests for removal due to retaliation. Even hosts who say they spoke to CS ambassadors say they are getting denied for what appears to clearly be retaliatory responses.

If you show them via their terms and conditions (cite what section) how this review broke the rules without getting emotional and saying the facts maybe they would oblige. I however am not hopeful based on what other hosts have been reporting.

You could do a call out to Airbnb in their social media accounts, X and FB. You could also as a last resort consider arbitration.

Please let us know how this works out for you.
