Abusive guests

A recent reservation was for 2 guests. They showed up with 6 people. They were loud and partied until 4 in the morning. I repeatedly told them they needed to quiet down. They were very disrespectful saying they paid for this. Two people finally left. I was fearful that they were going to damage my home. Once they were gone I requested extra fees to cover the 2 extra guests. They declined the charges. I’m trying to get airbnb involved but no contact to initiate a conversation. How can I get this resolved?

Yikes, @Tom118 .  So you allowed the guests that reserved for 2 to enter the property with 6?  I fear you lost almost all your leverage at that moment.  The problem with customer service is very real right now so hosts have to be extra careful .  Given their complete disregard of your business and your property, I think all you really can do is write a negative review.  If there is damage, you can seek a claim, but the burden of proof is on you.  So sorry this is happening to you.

So sorry to hear about your experience , but I agree with @Linda108

Why did you let the guests check in with 4 more people than had booked and why didn't you ask Airbnb to cancel the booking after they ignored your requests to quieten down.

Why did you wait until the guests had left to ask for extra fees,  and then only ask them to cover two additional guests when there were four?

Personally in situations like this, I wouldn't let them check in and would refer to my house rules which prohibit additional guests.
