Airbnb really needs to up their game on filters! Especially in Europe. I'm probably not the only one who looks at other booking sites because the Airbnb filters are extremely limited. A huge problem in more dense tourism areas.
Not having defining filters like waterfront, waterview, canal view, pedestrian street view, terrace, rooftop terrace are major disadvantages for both hosts and clients. All of these filters should be on Airbnb. Imo these are absolutely necessary filters all across Europe. Virtually everywhere there are waterfront property hosts. Which covers pretty much 80-90% of all of Europe. Although they do have a waterfront filter in Porto, Portugal ~ the one and only place we've been to in Europe where Airbnb has the "waterfront" filter. Other booking sites have several of these filters, especially in places like Amsterdam or Venice.
Fact is Airbnb by all accounts should be leading the way in filtering options. It makes no sense not to. It's been an absolute pain in the butt finding properties with specific features on Airbnb!
AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF THE TRAVELING GYPSY GOD ~ GIVE US AN ON/OFF SWITCH FOR SPLIT RENTALS!
