Hello everyone,
This post is in the hopes that this idea gets to the dev team, and can be implemented.
Recently I have been getting a lot of guests whos flights arrive at different times, or a day apart from the actual check in day.
For instance the primary guests flight arrives the day after or at a late hour making check in the next day but their additional registered guests arrive on the day of check in with in the hosts window of check in time.
It would be amazing if the other registered guests could have access to the chat conversation with the primary guest and Host, so that if the additional registered guests are the ones checking in they can stay in contact with the host with out having to use the Primary as a middle person.
This would help ensure a more controlled conversation and timely information for Host(s) with one or even more then one listing, as timing can be difficult to manage if there are not clear lines of communication with all guests.
another amazing addition would be at the time of a guests booking, on the guest end, when they hit the book now, they should get a pop up that says something along the lines of "Did you read the entire listing description? by clicking yes you understand the listings description and all that it entails" the next pop up is acknowledgment that all communications are to be handled on the Airbnb platform and offer information thru a link on how to install the app if the guest is not already using it. < these 2 things I think would help improve the Host and guest experience, as my self and I'm sure many other hosts have seen that guest will ask questions that have already been answered in the listings description. Its as if they (the Guests) look at our pictures but don't read the description or the captions on the pictures. On the app when looking at a listing the description is partially hidden to save space, if the "READ MORE" was in Airbnb Red or was a scroll it shows more as the user scrolls down, something that ensures they will see the entire description.
