Air Bnb Support HELP

Hey all  - we had an unfortunate experience at a property when we showed up for our vacation over spring break, water leak and black mold.  We had to relocate and at significantly higher cost and the overseas Airbnb call center is seriously dropping the ball on helping with this and saying they can't escalate my claim any further.  How do I get a hold of someone else? phone number for an office state-side? any insight would be helpful.  Thanks team.

You can't unfortunately. Read through the Aircover for guests policy. The host should cover the additional costs if there was no suitable alternative accommodation at a cheaper rate .

 

Quote the policy and ask Airbnb to sort . @Nick-and-Moe0 

@Helen3 you're saying to somehow request reimbursement from the first host? 

No  @Nick-and-Moe0 what I advised in my post was to

 

1. Read the Aircover for guests policy

 

2. Quote the part of the policy which mentions hosts are liable for additional accommodation costs 

 

3. quote the policy and ask Airbnb to sort it out 

 

nowhere did I mention 'somehow request imbursement from the host' did I ??? 😳

 

@Helen3 can you show me which part of the policy you are referring to? Im struggling to see what I should quote back to Airbnb.  Thanks for your help
