AirBNb review not showing up

AirBNb review not showing up

Hello!

Both guest and host have submitted the review straight after the checkout, but they are not showing up on the profiles.

How long does it takes for them to show?

Usually the reviews used to show up immediately if both parties submitted them at the same time, but this time is not happening.

What can be done?

Thanks!

Hi @Emilie

the reviews both appeared today! After 4 days.

I guess it was a timing process problem then, but they both got published at the same time .

🙂Thank you for checking in

Yes @Lara2131 , it's still usually goes to the profile right away.

You can double-check the status of the review by going to the full version of the booking. Check whether it has an "awaiting review" status or the review shows on the booking itself.

Thank you @Shelley159

I checked on the booking, and is shows 'awaiting review'

the guest confirmed that she subbmitted the review on sunday tho ...

at this point, I'm not sure what to do

It is possible there is something in the guest review that is preventing it from being published by Airbnb. Sometimes it is an innocent mistake on the part of the guest (mentioned the actual listing location or private information about the Host). It's also possible the guest thought they completed the review process, but didn't. On their end it should show they completed their review in the message thread. If they have email notifications turned on, they should have received an email stating "read what [Host name] had to say."

Hi @Lara2131

I wanted to check in and see if the review was showing up now?

If not, it might be worth asking the guest what status shows on their end, and whether what Joan indicated could be applying here.

Let us know how you get on 🙂
